The Training Courses were developed by the Partnership in co-operation with the SALTO TC RC and implemented by the National Agencies of the Youth in Action Programme.

In total, more than 150 youth leaders and youth workers from across Europe attended these Training Courses.

The evaluation of the these Training Courses was extremely positive. These very good results encouraged the main stakeholders (Partnership, SALTO TC TC, National Agencies) to launch a new series of six EC TCs in 2008/2009 (in France, Iceland, Spain, Belgium-Flanders, Romania and the United Kingdom).

Further to the courses, the participants in the EC TCs developed many interesting project ideas linked to European Citizenship. Moreover, these participants will benefit from the support of a follow-up strategy and a specific internet platform, which will help them to further integrate European Citizenship in their youth work.
