Call for Facilitators for the EU Youth Conference in Warsaw (5-7 September 2011)

The Ministry of National Education of Poland has put out a call for facilitators and trainers from EU member states, Eastern Europe and Caucasus countries to become a facilitator in the UE Youth Conference that will be held in Warsaw (5-7 September). The Youth conference is organised by the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The conference will collect young people’s recommendations about main obstacles, added values, benefits, as well as action and tools needed to further develop youth mobility and cooperation between EU and neighboring countries. A special focus will be given to Eastern Europe and Caucasus.

The EU Youth Conference in Warsaw on youth mobility and cooperation is intended as a space for dialogue between young people and policy-makers in the EU.
Representatives from youth organisations and governments will attend the event.

In addition, two preparatory meetings will be held before the EU Youth Conference on 20-23 June and 3-4 September 2011.
National Working Groups for Structured Dialogue will carry out national consultations in all the EU member states as to prepare to the EU Youth Conference. The findings of the national consultations will serve as a background material for the workshops during the Warsaw conference.

Applicants will be requested to devise the methods and run in a result-oriented manner the workshops in cooperation with a workshop leader appointed by the European Steering Committee for Structured Dialogue.
