Teaser :
The new T-Kit published by the partnership between the European Commission and the Council of Europe in the field of Youth is now available upon request. It focusses the topic of Euro-Mediterranean youth work.

News :

"Mosaic": this is the image adopted for this new Training Kit to represent the peculiar Euro-Mediterranean situation, characterized by several cultural, religious, socio-political realities. This wide multi-faceted and diversified panorama, yet place of close contacts and mutual perceptions among its populations, is probably one of the best and most complex contexts to analyse from the intercultural and co-operation point of view.

The T-kit, aiming at deepening the issue of youth work and co-operation in the Euro-Mediterranean countries, allows in fact a wide space for context analysis, and for a large discussion on Mediterranean history, traditions and religions, cultural diversities and minorities conditions. Only after a good understanding of all these aspects, it is possible to talk proactively of youth work and co-operation, youth participation and active citizenship.

This T-kit provides activities and observation to promote a participatory approach, stimulating youth dialogue, reciprocal knowledge and and social involvement.
