The main goal of the competition is to provide space for young people from the region to express
their views on the EU through different art forms, but also to gain information and knowledge about
the EU.
Each participant is allowed to provide more than one piece of work. Any text likely to be joined
to the work needs to be translated into English.
The Leadership Development Programme for young people from the region, as well as broader Europe
contributes to the he reform process in South Eastern Europe. The TRANSFUSE Association and the
College of Europe have taken the lead to initiate this ten-month programme aiming at transmiting
knowledge about the EU and its relation to the region, to stimulate the leadership and professional
skills of participants and to encourage an exchange of views. The European Fund for the Balkans has
been generously financing the programme since 2008 and is now, since 2009, organising it jointly
with the College of Europe and the TRANSFUSE Association.
Who can apply and how?
Young individuals from South East Europe and Turkey can compete with their creative work. The
contest is open to young people aged 18-30 from: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria,
Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Greece, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and
Turkey.

The selected candidates will be requested to send their works to Bosnia - Herzegovina for the 28
March exhibition in Sarajevo.The three first winners will be awarded prizes ranking from 100 to 300
