| Steunpunt Scouting Gelderlandis a regional office for training and support of leaders in scouting and guiding in The Netherlands. Since 7 years we are involved in projects concerning the validation of non-formal learning. We believe that through voluntary work people can develop a lot of competences that are useful for their job and/or their studies and can strengthen their position on the labour market. Having this in mind Steunpunt Scouting Gelderland is looking for possible partners - volunteer organisations that are involved in validation of non-formal learning in voluntary work, prefarably organisations that cooperate with schools for vocational education. |

During the last years we have seen that in voluntary work a lot of certificates and portfolio’s
for volunteers have been developed, but these are not always taken seriously/accepted by
institutions for formal education.
