 Partnership activities at a glance

2010 sees a specific focus on further development of the European Knowledge Centre for Youth Policy (EKCYP) and on the collection and provision of knowledge related to youth issues. The Centre fosters a better understanding and knowledge of youth matters, reports on youth-related subjects and contributes to evidence-based policy-making.

Where training and quality assurance for youth work are concerned, citizenship training courses are complemented by the continuing advanced training course for trainers, TALE. The strategy for better recognition of youth work and non-formal learning is to be reinforced.

Priority continues to be given to specific geographical co-operation with the Euro-Mediterranean, South-East Europe and Eastern European and Caucasus regions, as well as to the Euro-African youth co-operation implemented by the North-South Centre in Lisbon.
