European Pathways: a study curriculum in the frame of the bachelor in Social Work

Aims / Objectives :
The aim of this study curriculum is to provide Social work students with knowledge and skills in the field of intercultural learning and international youth work.

Short description :

This BA curriculum includes:
- intercultural learning
- foreign languages
- law of the European Union
- Community Education
- aspects of international and European social work
- project workshop: Social work and European youth work/ training
- a semester of field work: the student spends one semester in another European country in the frame of the Erasmus programme OR takes part to a local project which tackles intercultural learning (work with immigrants, asylum seekers, international youth work).

St the end of the three years, the student obtains a B.A in Social Work and a certificate 'European pathways'.
