Few words about me: Since 2002 I have been working with issues of youth participation in public life and active citizenship. I work as a consultant in the field of youth policies and non-formal education. My main themes of expertise are citizenship education with focus on European citizenship, intercultural learning, media education, European dimension in education, European youth policy. I cooperate with the national institute of children and youth and Ministry of education, youth and sports of the Czech Republic. Further I work with either within the LOS NGO that I co-established in 2003, or as a freelance trainer for various organizations, including Eurodesk, the Czech National Agency of the Youth in Action Programme, UNESCO Initiative Centre Poland, as well as various NGO’s and institutions in Europe. I have finished my Ph.D. in educational science with a focus on the European dimension in education and the attitudes of youth in the Czech-German-Polish border area. I wrote publication for the Czech National Agency of Youth in Action programme – “Me a citizen of Europe – how to work with European dimension and European citizenship in projects of non-formal education”. I was engaged in projects, initiatives and meetings in 15 different EU countries and further in Iceland, Israel, RSA, Tanzania, Turkey, Uganda and USA.
