Few words about me: Mireille Gemmeke (1966) is senior advisor and researcher in the youth sector since 1997. She currently works at the department of education and care of the Dutch Youth Institute, a knowledge broker for the youth sector. Her fields of expertise in international research range from (education for) active citizenship to family policy and child care. Recently her work involves research and project development in local youth policy, youth work and civil society involvement in raising children.
