A few words about myself: Maria-Carmen Pantea, PhD, holds a MSc in Evidence-Based Social Interventions at Oxford and an MA with Merit in Gender Studies at the Central European University. She authored articles on young people living in transnational families, migration, Roma exclusion, transition to work and volunteering. She published in Young, European Journal of Social Work, Journal of Evidence-Based Social Work, Romani Studies and is a referee of several international social sciences journals.
Maria-Carmen Pantea served as a consultant for UNIFEM and for The Centre for Strategy & Evaluation Services, Kent. In 2008 she undertook the evaluation of the research and policy strand of the EU-CoE Youth Partnership. At present, she is an LGI OSI Fellow doing policy research on Reintegration Initiatives for Returning Roma Migrants. Maria-Carmen Pantea holds a teaching position at "Babes Bolyai" University, Romania.
