A few words about myself: Karina Chupina is originally from St. Petersburg (Russia), currently living in Germany. She is a freelance professional international consultant, researcher and writer. She has been involved in international youth work for more than 12 years and is a president of IFHOHYP (www.ifhohyp.org). Karina Chupina has been a consultant for the European Commission, Council of Europe, Open Society Institute, ILGA, U.S. Library of Congress, European Disability Forum, American Councils of International Education, and other organisations.
Karina Chupina holds an MA in International Journalism (St.Petersburg State University), Executive MA in International and European Relations & Management (University of Amsterdam), MA in Political Science and Sociology (European University at St.Petersburg).
Karina is also a member of Trainers’ Pool of the Council of Europe Directorate of Youth and Sport where her main training areas are Human Rights Education, Inclusion, Diversity & Anti-Discrimination, Disablism & Disability Rights, Training of Trainers, Media and Youth Participation.
Currently Karina conducts her PhD research on social inclusion in Berlin and continues her journey in human rights work, non-formal education and journalism. Her current research interests are social inclusion, disability, anti-discrimination, equal opportunities, non-formal learning.
