What is a good practice?

This good practice database is aiming at collecting innovative projects and actions in the field of youth carried out at local, national and international levels outside the framework of Youth in Action funding programme.

For a  collection of exemplary projects in the framework of the Youth (2000–2006) and Youth in Action (2007–2013) programmes, please see the thematic compendia issued by the European Commission http://ec.europa.eu/youth/sharing-experience/experience1291_en.htm.

For other projects carried out in the framework of the Youth in Action Programme please refer to the SALTO Youth homepage (http://www.salto-youth.net/rc/eeca/npcdatabase/gppd/ or http://www.salto-youth.net/static/yic/).

CRITERIA:

1. The good practices in this database must be projects or initiatives related to one of the core areas of the partnership on youth between the European Commission and the Council of Europe:

2. The project or initiative is an activity in youth work/training or youth policy of a local, regional, national or international scale.

3. The project or initiative has to be implemented in practice and have proven its applicability in the youth field. Therefore its description must include concrete actions and evidence of their results.

4. At least one of the following criteria should be met:

  • The project or initiative is innovative and contributes to develop new ways of applying youth work, training and youth policy on local, regional or national levels.
  • The project or initiative is a good example of a reference model that is also applied in other projects or by other initiatives.
  • The project is a political initiative including legal activities and regulations.

Please note that all contributions are checked by the EU-CoE youth partnership according to these criteria before they are accepted and available on the website.

The EU-CoE youth partnership may reject or to remove contributions from the database at any time without prior notification. Although the EU-CoE youth partnership scrutinizes incoming contributions, it cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of the contribution’s content.
