Main partners in the youth training field

The aim of the Partnership is to provide added value to the programmes of the two institutions (Council of Europe and European Commission) and their institutional partners.

The Partnership therefore involves many partner institutions and organisations in the planning, implementation and evaluation of its training activities. It also uses the multiplier potential of the partner institutions’ networks in order to maximise the impact of its training activities.

Here are our main partners in the field of youth training:

- European Youth Centres

Both European Youth Centres regularly host training activities of the Partnership and constitute major partners.
Most importantly, the Partnership training activities benefit a lot from the accumulated experience and know-how of the European Youth Centres educational staff in Strasbourg and Budapest.

- SALTO Resource Centres

SALTO is a network of 8 Resource Centres working on European priority areas within the youth field. SALTO is part of the European Commission’s Training Strategy within the Youth in Action programme.

- Network of National Agencies

The primary role of the network of 33 National Agencies is to promote and implement the Youth in Action programme at national level. They have experience with European programmes for young people and are familiar with the relevant issues and organisations.

- Trainers

The Youth-Partnership works with a growing number of trainers each year. Trainers play an essential role in ensuring the quality of the Partnership training activities and publications. They participate primarily in the training courses as external trainers, but they are also involved in curriculum development, evaluation of training activities, as well as the development of  Partnership publications (T-Kits and the Coyote Magazine).

All trainers working for the Partnership are recruited after an open call for expressions of interest and are members of the DYS trainers pool.
